Mark Kaifer

Principal

Mark Kaifer, Esq. graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2002 and joined the Goodell DeVries law firm as a litigation associate from 2002-2007.  Mark left the Goodell DeVries firm on good terms in 2007 to join and continue KIG into a second generation.  Mark became KIG’s Principal in 2013.  Mark’s diverse background, education and experience provides KIG’s clients with unparalleled personal and commercial insurance direction and advice.   

Mark resides in Perry Hall with his wife Heather and their two young children, Drew and Lilly.  Mark spends his free time coaching youth sports and golfing.

Professional Experience:
Principal – The Kaifer Insurance Group (2013-current). 
Oversees and manages all aspect of the agency’s service and sales operation.

Producer – The Kaifer Insurance Group (2007-2013).
Responsibilities included production, retention and service.

Associate – Goodell DeVries (2002-2007).  
Represented Fortune 500 clients in national and local complex tort, product liability, pharmaceutical liability, medical device, and toxic tort litigation. Was responsible for all aspects of civil litigation including discovery, trial counsel and post-trial proceedings.
